Our Specialties
Anxiety
Anxiety can feel like a constant hum of worry, fear, or dread — even when life looks fine on the outside. We help you understand what your anxiety is trying to tell you, build practical coping tools, and stop the cycle of avoidance so you can move through life with more ease and confidence.
Learn MoreDepression
Depression can steal your motivation, joy, and sense of self. We work with you to rediscover your values, make small sustainable changes, and reconnect with what makes life meaningful — using CBT, behavioral activation, and compassionate support every step of the way.
Learn MoreTrauma & EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an integrative trauma intervention that helps the brain reprocess "stuck" traumatic memories, reducing their emotional grip on your daily life. It incorporates the brain, body, and emotional processing in a way that often produces a deeper level of healing than talk therapy alone.
Learn MoreCouples Therapy
Our couples therapists are trained in the Gottman Method — one of the most extensively researched approaches in the field. We work on building a solid friendship foundation, fostering fondness and admiration, turning toward one another, and creating shared meaning. Whether you're navigating conflict or simply want to grow closer, we provide a structured roadmap for lasting change.
Learn MoreDialectical & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
CBT helps you recognize the negative thinking patterns holding you back — because how we think has a profound impact on how we feel and act. DBT builds on this with practical skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness that you can use immediately in difficult situations.
Learn MoreGrief & Loss
Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and it isn't always about death. Whether you're mourning a person, a relationship, an identity, or a life you expected — we offer a space to process loss without judgment, and support you in finding your footing again.
Learn MoreLife Transitions
Career changes, divorce, relocation, parenthood, identity shifts — transitions can be exciting and terrifying at the same time. We help you process the uncertainty, clarify your values, and move forward with intention rather than anxiety.
Learn MoreLGBTQIA+ Affirming Care
Our therapists provide a genuinely affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples. We understand the unique stressors that come with navigating identity, family dynamics, and a world that doesn't always make room for you — and we're here to help you thrive.
Learn MoreWho We Are
New Vision Therapy Center is a team of licensed therapists in Austin, TX and Denver, CO united by one belief — that everyone deserves access to genuine, skilled mental health care. Founded by Carly Stout, we've grown into a practice of 15+ clinicians specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and more. We accept most major insurance plans, offer in-person and Telehealth sessions, and pride ourselves on building real therapeutic relationships that create lasting change.
Meet Our TeamInsurance & Rates
We believe cost shouldn't be a barrier to quality mental health care. We accept most major insurance plans and offer self-pay options with sliding scale rates for those who qualify.
Accepted Insurance Plans
We are in-network with most major insurers. Each therapist accepts different plans — our office manager will match you with a therapist who is in-network with your coverage.
Self-Pay & Sliding Scale
Self-pay rates are $135 per individual session and $150 per couples session. Sliding scale rates are available for clients with financial need — please inquire for details.
Good Faith Estimates detailing the projected total cost of services are available to all self-pay clients upon request.
Note on couples therapy: As of January 15, 2022, we no longer accept insurance for couples therapy. Insurance requires a DSM diagnosis and disorder-focused treatment, which doesn't align with the relational nature of most couples work. Couples sessions are self-pay only.
Out-of-Network Benefits
If your insurance is not one we are credentialed with, we can provide a monthly invoice (superbill) for you to submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement. Contact your insurance company directly to confirm whether your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits.
EAP & Additional Programs
We are in-network with ComPsych and Lyra employee assistance programs for both TX and CO clients.
Colorado clients may also be eligible for Victim's Compensation coverage. We accept both Denver and Jefferson County Victim's Compensation plans.
Your Employer May Already Be Covering Your Sessions
Many top companies offer Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) that pay for therapy — at no cost to you. We proudly accept EAP benefits from a wide range of employers, so you can get the support you deserve without worrying about the bill.
