Contact KristyMy Approach
My approach is person-centered and integrative. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, tailoring our work to what you need rather than fitting you into a single method.
Everything I do is grounded in a trauma-informed lens. I want our sessions to feel safe, respectful, and collaborative, so you can explore what's hard at a pace that feels right for you.
I have experience supporting clients through complex grief, divorce, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood and personality disorders, addiction, and self-harming thoughts.
Who I Work With
I work with individuals of all ages, and I especially enjoy supporting families, couples, and young adults.
Helping family members understand one another, improve communication, and move through change together.
Using Emotionally Focused Therapy to help partners reconnect, repair, and build a more secure bond.
Supporting identity exploration, life transitions, and the pressures that come with this season of life.
Background & Training
As a Latina therapist, spouse, and mother, I bring my own lived experience into the room alongside my clinical training. I am proud to offer LGBTQIA+ affirming care to every client I work with.
